Shows and Exhibitions

As a group we are usually invited to hang paintings at several sites during each year.  For example during the spring and summer of 2026 we exhibited at Turf Tavern in Scotia, at Colonie Library and at Guilderland Library.  In addition our Exhibitions and Shows chair will identify and inform us about many other opportunities for displaying art.  All of these opportunities are mentioned during meetings and published in the Newsletters.  In most cases art may be tagged with a sale price or NFS as desired by the artist.  Many of these shows feature a reception, and occasionally we invite an expert to critique the work.

promote or make sales for individuals.  

Many oppportunities to show individual work are listed in each Newsletter.  Members' shows are also mentioned in the Newsletter provided the editor gets the information from the artist on time.
